Here’s what an average day in this rewarding role might entail:

• Using SolidWorks, you will develop layouts, detail drawings, and assembly documentation, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborating closely with project teams, you will contribute to the preparation of product specifications, guaranteeing that all requirements are met.
• By working alongside our manufacturing group, you will play a vital role in supporting the manufacturing of our products, as well as the completion of cost estimates, tooling requirements, and assembly necessities.
• You will assist our purchasing department with sourcing, specifications, and approvals of components, ensuring the highest level of quality in our final products.
• Maintaining our systems to meet ISO requirements, you will play a key role in upholding our commitment to Creating a Better Experience for our customers and teams.
• Your creativity and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you present multiple design concepts to your peers and management, contributing to our culture of innovation.

To excel in this role, we value the following qualifications:

• Previous drafting internship or work experience is preferred.
• A solid foundation in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is essential.
• Ideally, you have at least three years of drafting and SolidWorks experience, demonstrating your expertise and ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Familiarity with commonly used drafting terminology and symbols is a must, ensuring effective communication within the team.
• Knowledge of designing and manufacturing products using high-volume production parts and assemblies, as well as various manufacturing processes, is highly valued.
• Multitasking is a key skill as you contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, all while maintaining a sharp focus on detail and quality.
• Experience in metrology or C.M.M., is also highly valued.
