About The Job

American Torch Tip Company is looking for an Order Entry/Customer Service to join our team! Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like for an Order Entry/Customer Service at American Torch Tip:

  • The Order Entry/Customer Service Interacts with both internal and external customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Collects, enters orders and quotes for new or additional products or services.
  • Routes customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the Order Entry/Customer Service knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

The following will be needed to perform the Order Entry/Customer Service Position:

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented, able to resolve customer grievances, problem-solving.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to type 45 WPM.
  • Prior experience using a CRM a plus.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

  • 8-hour shift (8:00am – 4:30pm)
  • Monday to Friday

  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Order Entry: 1 year (Preferred)
